How to use
- 1Drag and drop photos or pick them with [Choose files]. The order of the list becomes the page order of the PDF

The big number on the result card is the page count of the PDF you made. The result is named images.pdf; if you add just one photo, its original name is used, as in photo.jpg → photo.pdf.
You can add up to 100 photos at a time. We recommend a combined total of up to 200 MB on desktop and 50 MB on mobile. Going over the recommendation shows a warning, but you can still continue. Files that would bring the total over 500 MB can’t be added.

Options explained
- Paper size
- Chooses the page size: A4 (default, 595.28×841.89pt), Letter (612×792pt) or Original size. Pick A4 for submitting or printing, or Letter when you need the size used in the US and some other countries. “Original size” treats the image's pixels as 96 dpi (px ÷ 96 × 72pt) to set the page size, then adds the selected margin around it. In that case the image is placed at its own size, neither enlarged nor reduced.
- Orientation
- “Auto” (default) places photos that are wider than they are tall on landscape paper, and all other photos on portrait paper. To give every page the same orientation, choose “Portrait” or “Landscape”. When Paper is “Original size”, each page follows the shape of its image, so there's no orientation to choose.
- Margin
- The empty space between the edge of the page and the photo. Choose None (0pt), Normal (36pt, default, about 12.7mm) or Wide (72pt, about 25.4mm). Each photo is placed as large as it fits inside the margins, keeping its proportions, and centered. “Wide” suits documents you'll print and bind; “None” suits PDFs you'll only view on screen.
- Photo formats and rotation
- This isn't a setting you can turn on or off; it always works the same way. JPGs are placed at their original quality without recompression, with only the shooting info (EXIF, location and so on) taken out, and their rotation info (EXIF orientation) is applied to how they sit on the page, so photos taken in portrait appear upright. PNGs are also placed as is, so transparent areas are kept. WebP, AVIF, HEIC and GIF are converted to JPG (quality 92) first; in that case transparent areas become white, and only the first frame of an animated GIF is used.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. Creating the PDF happens inside this browser and your files are never sent off your device. To check it yourself, follow the steps on the How it works page.
Can I add iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes. HEIC is converted to JPG (quality 92), and the photo's orientation is applied. Making a PDF with the defaults from a test HEIC shown in portrait (21 KB) and a PNG with a transparent background (204 KB) gave a 228 KB PDF with two pages: portrait A4 and landscape A4.
My photo comes out lying on its side.
Phone photos often use rotation info (EXIF orientation) to display in portrait. This tool applies that info and places each photo the way it appears on screen; the test JPG shown in portrait via rotation info also went onto portrait A4 upright. If the photo itself was saved sideways, this tool can't rotate it, so rotate and save it in a photos app first, then add it.
The PDF is too large.
JPGs are placed as is without recompression, so the PDF's size is close to the total size of the photos you added. The test case with three JPGs of 4.0 MB, 117 KB and 49 KB also came to 4.1 MB. To make it smaller, first shrink the photos with Compress Image or Resize Image, then add them.
Does shooting info such as location end up in the PDF?
No. JPGs are placed without recompression, but the parts holding shooting info (EXIF, location, XMP, IPTC) are removed first, so none of it stays in the PDF. Image quality is the same as the original JPG. WebP, AVIF, HEIC and GIF are converted to JPG before they're placed, so their shooting info isn't carried over either.

- The PDF is created inside this browser with pdf-lib, and images are converted with the browser's built-in decoders and WebAssembly engines. Files are not sent to a server.
- JPGs are placed without recompression, with only the EXIF, GPS, XMP and IPTC parts removed; the EXIF orientation is applied to how the image sits on the page.
- WebP, AVIF, HEIC and GIF are converted to JPG (quality 92) before they're placed, and EXIF, GPS and other metadata from the converted images is not carried over. For GIF, only the first frame is used.
- PNGs are placed as is, keeping transparent areas.
